I have always loved hosting events that bring like minded people together. When Leigh of Love, Leigh Love who is also a Nashville native reached out to me about eight weeks ago to meet up and chat about collaborating on a blogger networking event, I was excited and ready to work!
There are so many Nashville Bloggers, but four our first event we wanted to keep it intimate. After thinking on where to host our event, we reached out to The Lab which is a co-working and event space in Germantown. After visiting, we knew it was the perfect location because we were able to have the front area set up in classroom style and the back area with the white couches we used for the mingling area.
It was important that we choose 4 local influencers as our panelists so that bloggers could learn and take home information from the event that would help them along their blogging journey. We had four amazing panelists: Tomiko of Passport & Grub, Jasmine of Jasmine Sweet Blog, Brittany of Pockets & Bows, and Amber of Native in Nashville. Each of them were very transparent in sharing their story as well as gave great advice for novice bloggers and seasoned ones as well.
Tasty libations and good food are must for any event. Thanks to Beso Del Sol, we were able to offer a white, pink, and red sangria for the attendees to enjoy. I was happy that everyone loved the sangria as much as I do. The pink is my favorite!! Chef Batts who is a Nashville native prepared the food for the event along with his signature cookies which everyone couldn't get enough of.
You can't have a blogger event without a photo booth. Bloggers do love selfies! Our photo booth was provided by Music City Photo Booth. I love this company because they offer props and fun celebrity cutouts for your guests to use which make for great photos that can be emailed or sent directly to a phone.
