Blogger Staycation with Domio

I love bringing people together so when the opportunity came to host a blogger staycation, I was elated! For the Staycation, I teamed up with Domio, a company that offers vacation rental properties that are perfect for group travel. There were a total of 5 of us for the experience, and let me tell you only choosing 4 additional bloggers was difficult because I am close to so many Nashville Bloggers! After the property was booked a member of the Guest Experience team reached out with check-in information and to see if we needed any help building out an itinerary for the weekend. They can help you curate your trip so that no detail goes untouched. The property we stayed in was located near The Gulch and was beautiful a 2-story home with a terrace that overlooked the Nashville skyline. It had 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, a half bath, living & dining room, and full kitchen. It was nice having a full space to enjoy and not be cramped into a hotel with only a mini fridge.

For every girl’s trip that I am a part of, I always have welcome gifts. It is just a must for me! Even though we stayed in the city, I knew I wanted to gift each blogger with a box of goodies to show appreciation. I will share how to create the perfect Girl’s Trip Welcome Gifts in a future post, but for now, let me share what was included: Muddy Boot Wine, Custom Labeled Mini Champagne, Black Radiance Beauty products, First Aid Beauty skincare, Old Dominick Distillery libations, Satin Robes and custom Instagram Sugar Cookies! Domio also provided us with some skin care products, a Lyft code, Eye Masks, Face Masks and sunnies as gifts too!

To kick off the Blogger Staycation we had Girl’s Night In. We indulged in Slim and Husky’s pizza and pasta, had some girl talk and played What Do You Meme? This game had me in tears!!! On Saturday morning, we woke up and got ready for our shoot with Chris, who is an amazing lifestyle photographer. We got group and solo shots because….#BloggerLife. In the afternoon, we headed to East Nashville to make candles at The Candle Bar. This was such a fun and unique experience that I already cannot wait to go back. We were able to not only pick what scent we wanted, but we also were able to pick the vessel - both were difficult for me because they had some great scents and I could not decide which room I wanted to put my candle in.

The Ainsworth

Saturday night, we enjoyed dinner at The Ainsworth, which is a new high end sports bar in Nashville. My favorite appetizer is the Mac Fries. They are So. GOOD. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the apps, cocktails, and entrees that they ordered. By 10pm a DJ was set up and playing all of the hits and some people (including myself) were up even up dancing! After The Ainsworth, we all headed downtown to Broadway for a little tourist fun and spent the night dancing away at the top floor of Luke Bryan’s bar 32 Bridge.

This was my first Blogger Staycation that I hosted, and it turned out so well that I am already planning another one! If you are looking to host your own staycation or are planning a vacation for a group, then I highly recommend looking into Domio!
