Upcoming Events: Art Basel Miami 2018

The countdown to 2018 Miami Beach Art Basel has begun! I cannot wait to be immersed into the Art Scene (and of course attend some of the parties). Below are a few of the weeks, must attend installations and events. Check back periodically, because I will be adding to this post!

WHAT:  KNR Hospitality Group has an exciting Art Basel ilneup for WALL at W South Beach! It will be a 6-day line up starting on Tuesday, December 4 with Favela Beach Art Basel edition hosted by Art Department, Salome and Gad. The party continues with Guy Gerber, Behrouz and Chicco Secci on turntables on Wednesday, December 5; Erick Morillo and Vanjee on Thursday, December 6; Paris Hilton returns as host and DJ for the 5th year on Friday, December 7; and on Saturday December 8, Nic Fanciullo, Rony Seikaly and Chicco Secci. WALL’s art week ends on Sunday, December 9 with the annual Art Basel party finale, The Director’s Cut.

Lexus & Design Miami - December 5-9

WHAT/WHEN: As an official partner of Design Miami, Lexus brings the LF-1 Limitless future concept vehicle to Design Miami! From December 5-9 guests will be able to view a projected mapping installation in a space designed by Japanese architect Socha Ichikawa of dNA (doubleNegatives Architecture). The exhibition is a new iteration of the popular installation at the Museo della Scienza/Tecnologia Leonardo da Vinci in Milan in April 2018.

Nautilus South Beach: Art Exhibitions and Pop-up - December 3 -10

WHAT/WHEN: To honor the work of Vik Muniz during Miami Beach Art Basel, Vik Muniz and Galeria Nara Roesler will partner with Jason Pomeranc and Galeria Nara Roesler on Thursday, December 6 to feature a few pieces (as part of the gallery’s collection) on display at the hotel and available for sale. Guest List only.
