Last week for my birthday, I did a (much needed) mid-week staycation at the Nashville Downtown Courtyard by Marriott. This was my first time staying at a Courtyard by Marriott, and I am happy to say that I really enjoyed my stay. I pulled up to the hotel and opted to valet my car which was a seamless process. Making my way up to the room I chatted with two different hotel employees who were very friendly (This always make me happy because I feel that I have never met a stranger)! I checked in around 4 and was pleasantly surprised when I got the room and saw how spacious it was. The room featured a comfy foam king bed, couch, mini fridge and desk.
Now let me just say that this bed almost made me miss my birthday dinner. I laid down to rest for a few minutes and did not want to get up because it was so plush! As for the bathroom...Ladies, the vanity has a mirror with LED lights which is great not only to help make sure you have flawless make up but it also gives you the perfect lighting for selfies. Also, Paul Mitchell products are available for your use in every room.
I know that sometimes work must be done while vacationing, and luckily the Courtyard by Marriott offers plenty of computer stations and printers for guests. So whether you need to finish up a presentation, send a few emails or print your boarding pass, they have you covered.
In The Bistro, which is located just past the check-in desk, you can grab breakfast if you stop by in the morning or dinner and cocktails if it is later in the day. On Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays The Bistro offers Live Music for guests to enjoy while they sip on tasty cocktails and enjoy items from the menu.
I did not make it down to The Bistro, BUT I do plan on doing another staycation here very soon. When I return, I will be sure to share my experience with you!
